This is a LIVE-IN Position, from Monday morning at 8 o'clock am until Friday Morning at 8 o'clock 4 days on and 3 days off ,all others need not apply. Job Description:
Blessings Care is Residential Care Facility for Adults with mental health disabilities and we are seeking a compassionate and experienced live-in caregiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and support to our residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and coordination of healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
The position requires you to live on site in a fully furnished private bedroom (rent free 4 Days) with Internet, full use of laundry equipment, Computer, TV and all utilities paid with meals included. The work hours are from 8am to 8pm, with 12 hours off duty uninterrupted plus all appropriate breaks throughout the day. After 8pm you are off duty but must be present in the facility. and available in case of any emergencies at the facility. If an emergency happens you will be compensated at time and 1/2 until relived. This is a 12 hours on 12 hours off LIVE-IN Position.
Must be able to constructively communicate with clients, staff and others (family, nurses and social workers etc).
Provide daily care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. All residents are Ambulatory.
Administer medication and assist with medication management
Coordinate and schedule healthcare appointments and Medication refill services.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Cooking and cleaning.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' care plans and progress.
Housekeeping and laundry duties.

Job Requirements:
The live-in caregiver must be present in the facility each night. You will have scheduled shifts and scheduled off time.
Must be at least 18 yrs old
Must pass a criminal background clearance prior to initial presence in the facility
Must have a clear health screening and clear TB test within 7 days of employment, with outside test results not older than 6 months.
Must have First Aid/CPR certification
Must complete all state required training within the allotted time
Must be able to physically perform the required duties including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and have a basic understanding of the needs related to Adults with mental disabilities
Must be able maintain a positive attitude towards challenging tasks.
MUST
Properly cooking delicious meals
Housekeeping (cleaning, washing laundry, sweeping, mopping etc.)
ADL’s (bathing, toileting, dressing, hygiene etc.)
Recognize, understand and assist with clients needs
Must have the ability to communicate clearly with residents, family members, team members, outside agencies and management
Must be neatly dressed and well groomed according to dress code (scrubs).
Must possess basic computer skills
Must be flexible and open to schedule changes
Salary Negotiable based on experience, . Must Pass Fingerprint, Background check, and have health Physical, TB screening. First aid/CPR/AED,CDL needed.
